Pools & Spas

Originally developed as a tennis club, the property has 3 swimming pools -- West, East and South -- each shaped like tennis racquets. The West pool is the largest of the three pools and is salt water. Each ranges in depth from 3 to 8 feet, and no diving is allowed. There are also 4 heated spas for year-round enjoyment. Any resident may use any pool or spa they choose within the posted hours of operation.

Gas Barbecue Grills

12 gas barbecue grills are available at 6 locations around the property.  The map of the property above shows the locations of all the grills.

The grills are easy to use, with good heat and little hassle. They all have built in igniters. A wire brush is typically available at each location to clean the grill rack before and after use.

When finished grilling, residents should clean the racks as a courtesy to the next users and be certain both the burners AND gas valves located below the grills are turned fully to the OFF position for safety.  If grills are not operating correctly, please alert management immediately.

Tennis & Pickleball Courts

The property has 6 cement courts, surfaced for tennis and/or pickleball, which can be floodlit for night time use. Courts 1 through 5 are for tennis; court 6 is divided into 2 pickleball courts. Hours of use are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. November through April, and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. May through October.

Clubhouse

Please refer to these complete Rules & Regulations for use of the clubhouse. 

The second-story Clubhouse (accessibly by stairs only, no elevator) contains a large and comfortable meeting room with game room that will accommodate 40 to 50 people.  It has a fully equipped modern kitchen, 2 pool tables, a ping-pong table, and restrooms. When not reserved, it can be used by any resident between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. Users will have to supply their own ping-pong and billiards equipment. 

Owners may reserve the clubhouse meeting room for social functions. Please use this Clubhouse Rental Form

Management has installed security cameras and a keyless entry system for the Clubhouse Meeting Room/Game Room, Fitness Center and Library. Each residence is assigned a key card for access to the facility. Management can track the source of vandalism or negligence when it occurs through access records and security camera footage, and owners will be held accountable for cleaning and/or damages at their own cost. ​

Fitness Center (Gym) & Sauna

A Fitness Center with exercise equipment including men's and women's bathrooms, saunas and showers, is located at the east end of the Clubhouse, accessible only from the outside. It can be used from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Laundry Facilities and Bicycle Storage

Canyon Country Club Estados has 4 laundry buildings located throughout the property. Please see property map for locations. Each facility has 3 washers and 3 dryers that can can be accessed and paid for through a mobile phone app called CleanPay Mobile. If you don't want to use the mobile phone app, laundry cards can be purchased using a credit card at the kiosk in the Clubhouse Game Room. Please see instructions posted in each laundry room for operating instructions or to report problems.

Some laundry buildings have bicycle racks that are first come first serve.  Bicycles are stored at owner's risk and are the sole responsibility of the owner. Bicycle theft is very common in Palm Springs.  U-locks are highly encouraged and are the only form of bicycle lock that appear to deter theft.
